| 27 | 27 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that the common-law doctrine of parental immunity shall not apply to protect a parent from liability when the parent engages in reckless misconduct consisting of knowingly providing a child with alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs and the child dies after consuming such alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, thereby reversing the decision in the case of Specyalski, ADMR v. Specyalski. | |
