| 29 | 29 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that when an application for a new group home is filed, (1) the applicant shall provide written notice of such application to property owners within a one-quarter mile radius of the site of the proposed group home, and (2) the planning and zoning commission shall conduct a public hearing on such application prior to issuing final approval. | |
