2121 AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO INSTALL TRAFFIC SAFETY CAMERAS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That the general statutes be amended to (1) allow municipalities to install traffic safety cameras, with or without radar abilities, for use by any state or local police force to enforce traffic and speeding laws, and (2) allow any municipality opting for such traffic safety cameras to collect half of any revenue realized from such enforcement.
