24+AN ACT CONCERNING A CONNECTICUT SPORTS AND MARKETING AUTHORITY.

1426 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

16-Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than October 1, 2011, the Sports Advisory Board, established pursuant to section 10-425 of the general statutes, shall submit a report, in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to commerce on the establishment of a Connecticut Sports and Marketing Partnership. Such report shall include an analysis of the feasibility of creating such partnership, recommendations regarding the governance of, and ethical standards applicable to, said partnership and an examination of the economic impact a sports and marketing partnership would have on the state.
