1224 AN ACT CONCERNING THE WAIVER OF FINES AND PENALTIES FOR CERTAIN BUSINESS REGULATION VIOLATIONS.

1426 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

16-Section 1. (Effective from passage) On or before January 1, 2012, the Departments of Economic and Community Development, Environmental Protection and Public Health shall jointly submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, with recommendations for legislative changes to allow said agencies to abate any fine or penalty assessed after July 1, 2012, to a business by said agencies for a first-time violation of a noncriminal regulation by a Connecticut business when such business takes full remedial measures not later than thirty days after such assessment.
