AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERNET WEB SITE FOR THE WASHINGTON-ROCHAMBEAU REVOLUTIONARY ROUTE NATIONAL HISTORIC TRAIL. 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and Community Development shall, not later than January 1, 2013, develop an Internet web site to highlight that portion of the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail that is located in the state. Such web site shall include, without limitation: (1) A map of the main trail and flanking trails indicating the location of (A) any intersections with other walking trails, and (B) the Revolutionary War sites, monuments and placards in the vicinity of such trails; (2) for each Revolutionary War site on or in the vicinity of such trails, links to other web sites providing additional information and photographs; (3) links to Connecticut tourism-themed web sites; (4) links to other web sites featuring the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail; and (5) an interactive calendar that will allow historical groups to post notice of events and entertainment along such trails. The commissioner may use funds distributed to the Department of Economic and Community Development from the community investment account, established pursuant to section 4-66aa of the general statutes, to develop the Internet web site.
