AN ACT CONCERNING THE DISBARMENT OF ANY ATTORNEY WHO IS CONVICTED OF STEALING CLIENT'S FUNDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 876 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any attorney who is convicted of a crime that involves the stealing of client's funds shall be permanently disbarred.

Statement of Purpose: 

To permanently revoke the license of any attorney who is convicted of a crime that involves the stealing of client's funds.
