AN ACT CONCERNING BONDING TO BENEFIT REDEMPTION SONG, INC.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to Redemption Song, Inc. of Wallingford for the acquisition or rental of supportive sober housing.

Statement of Purpose: 

To improve recovery rates and maintain family connections by allocating bond funds for the acquisition or rental of supportive sober housing for parents attending Redemption Song, Inc.'s Dry Dock recovery program in Wallingford.
