GIEGLER, 138th Dist. REP. GODFREY, 110th Dist. REP. SCRIBNER, 107th Dist. REP. SMITH, 108th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING SWIMMING IN CERTAIN BODIES OF WATER. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 440 of the general statutes be amended to allow swimming in any body of water where flood-skimming is used to transfer excess water from the body of water to a distribution reservoir during periods when flood-skimming is not occurring, provided swimming has been permitted in the body of water for not less than fifty years. Statement of Purpose: To allow swimming in certain bodies of water where it has historically been permitted.
