(NEW) (Effective July 1, 2013) (a) The Department of Social Services shall administer an assistance program for children who attain eighteen years of age while in the custody of a nonparent relative who is a legal guardian. The assistance program shall provide the same benefits as those received by children who attain eighteen years of age while in the care and custody of the Department of Children and Families. | |
