AN ACT CONCERNING IMMUNITY FOR PERSONS WHO DONATE PROPERTY TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2013) Any person, as defined in section 1-79 of the general statutes, who donates tangible property to a local or regional board of education shall be immune from civil liability for damage or injury occurring on or after October 1, 2013, resulting from any act, error or omission by such person with respect to such donated tangible property, unless such damage or injury was caused by the reckless, wilful or wanton misconduct of such person.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
