| 7 | 14 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

| 9 | 16 | Section 1. (Effective October 1, 2014) (a) There is established a domestic workers task force. Such task force shall study issues involving domestic workers in the state and make recommendations for legislative initiatives to provide outreach and education services to domestic workers and employers of domestic workers in the state. | |

| 11 | 18 | (b) The task force shall consist of the following members: | |

| 37 | 46 | (e) The speaker of the House of Representatives and the president pro tempore of the Senate shall select the chairpersons of the task force from among the members of the task force. Such chairpersons shall schedule the first meeting of the task force, which shall be held not later than sixty days after the effective date of this section. | |

| 39 | 48 | (f) The administrative staff of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to labor and public employees shall serve as administrative staff of the task force. | |

| 41 | 50 | (g) Not later than October 1, 2015, the task force shall submit, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, a report on its findings and recommendations to the Governor, the Joint Committee on Legislative Management and the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to labor and public employees. The task force shall terminate on the date that it submits such report or October 1, 2015, whichever is later. | |
