AN ACT CONCERNING THE OPERATION OF STATE PARK CONCESSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize the privatization of state park concession services and provide that the Board of Education Services for the Blind receive from any such private concession operator a payment representing ten per cent of the profits realized from the provision of such concessions. Additionally, such payment shall be in addition to any contractual obligation between the private concession operator and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide additional revenues to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from state park concessions for the operation of state parks while continuing to provide funds to the Board of Education Services for the Blind.
