| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to ban the sale of elephant ivory and rhinoceros horns and to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to establish a permit system that authorizes the sale of certain ivory or horn products made prior to a particular date. Additionally, such ban would not apply to persons who obtain ivory under federal law or for law enforcement purposes. | |
