| 28 | 28 | That chapter 815j of the general statutes be amended to provide that the court, upon the filing of an action involving the care and custody of a child, shall inquire of the parents or guardians of such child as to whether the child is receiving special needs services or mental health support services and, if so, the court shall (1) report this information to the Departments of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Children and Families, and (2) coordinate with said departments to ensure that the parents, guardians and child receive all needed services for not less than three years from the date of filing the action. | |
