2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to enhance penalties for individuals convicted of family violence if the act of family violence was committed within the hearing or vision of a minor who is a family or household member of either the offender or the victim and to establish a task force to evaluate existing policies and procedures utilized by criminal justice and human services providers when responding to children exposed to family violence.
