SIMMONS, 144th Dist. REP. TONG, 147th Dist. REP. FLOREN, 149th Dist. AN ACT ESTABLISHING PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS TO PROVIDE INTERNET SECURITY TRAINING AND EXERCISES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 55d of the general statutes be amended to expand public-private partnerships to include projects regarding technologies, processes and practices designed to protect a computer, computer network, computer data and computer program, as those terms are defined in section 53-451 of the general statutes, from damage or unauthorized access and to increase funding for related training and exercises for such partnerships. Statement of Purpose: To account for the rising threats and attacks to computers, networks, data and programs and reduce the vulnerability of the infrastructure of this state to such attacks.
