AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO STUDY THE EXPANSION OF WASTEWATER DISPOSAL SYSTEMS IN EASTERN CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to study the need for an expansion of the wastewater disposal system in eastern Connecticut, including the development of a master plan to identify and prioritize areas in urgent need and ways in which to ease the local burden of such systems.
Statement of Purpose:
To study the expansion of a wastewater disposal system in eastern Connecticut.
