30 | 30 | That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the state income tax (1) up to two thousand dollars of income for members of the armed forces and National Guard in active service, and (2) up to one thousand dollars of income for honorably discharged veterans and members of the National Guard. | |
