2626 AN ACT CONCERNING A LIAISON FOR MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES, WOMEN'S BUSINESS ENTERPRISES AND DIVERSITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES.

2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3030 That title 32 of the general statutes be amended to establish a liaison position within the Department of Economic and Community Development to perform state-wide outreach to owners of minority business enterprises, women's business enterprises and diversity business enterprises and assist owners of such business enterprises with the establishment and growth of their businesses. The liaison shall coordinate the efforts and resources of the Department of Economic and Community Development, the Department of Administrative Services and the Department of Labor to provide said owners with business assistance including, but not limited to, financing options, bid applications and growth and hiring incentive programs.
