AN ACT CONCERNING EVIDENTIARY STANDARDS IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Judicial Department, in consultation with the Office of Policy and Management, the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Economic and Community Development, shall (1) study the evidentiary standard for environmental issues in actions concerning affordable housing applications, and (2) establish evidentiary standards for such environmental issues to ensure the safety of local residents and the preservation of the environment.
Statement of Purpose:
To study the evidentiary standard for environmental issues in actions concerning affordable housing applications in order to establish evidentiary standards that safeguard safety and the environment.
