2424 AN ACT CONCERNING HOME HEALTH CARE REGULATIONS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Public Health shall meet with members of the Connecticut Medicaid home health legislative work group, including representatives of the Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home, to review and discuss potential changes to the Department of Public Health's regulations concerning home health care. Not later than January 1, 2017, the commissioner and the workgroup shall jointly report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public health and human services on the results of their discussions. Such report shall include, but need not be limited to, recommendations for changes to the department's home health care regulations and a timeline for amending such regulations to implement the recommended changes.
