AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO PROVIDE FINDINGS TO COMPLAINANTS CONCERNING COMPLAINTS OF WRONGDOING AGAINST VETERINARIANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 20-204a of the general statutes be amended to provide that the Department of Public Health shall provide complainants with a list of findings for any complaint investigated by the department pursuant to said section regardless of whether or not the department finds probable cause to take disciplinary action.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide improved disclosure to pet owners who file complaints with the Department of Public Health against veterinarians.
