28 | 28 | That section 42-288a of the general statutes be amended to require that a social media site operating in this state offer an "opt-out" option for the site's user, such that the user may determine whether or not he or she consents to the social media site accessing the user's personal contact list for reasons of engaging in unsolicited marketing to the user's contacts, irrespective of whether the user is a subscriber or nonsubscriber of the social media site. | |
