(NEW) (Effective October 1, 2017) (a) As used in this section, "lactation consultant" means a person who holds and maintains current certification in good standing as an international board certified lactation consultant with the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. | |

| 30 | 30 | (b) On or before January 1, 2018, and annually thereafter, the Commissioner of Public Health shall obtain from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners a listing of all state residents maintained on said board's registry of international board certified lactation consultants.
