AN ACT CONCERNING IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY FOR SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS WHO ADMINISTER EPINEPHRINE TO A STUDENT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 10-212a of the general statutes be amended to permit a bus driver, including an independent contractor and a person employed by a school district, to administer epinephrine with a cartridge injector to a student under the driver's supervision in certain circumstances and to establish immunity from liability for such driver for administering epinephrine in certain circumstances. Statement of Purpose: To permit school bus drivers to administer epinephrine to a student and to include school bus drivers in the list of persons protected from liability for administering epinephrine.
