2424 AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO MAKE CERTAIN REPORTS TO THE JUVENILE COURT.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 319 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Department of Children and Families to report to the Juvenile Court (A) within thirty days of a child entering into Department of Children and Families custody regarding the suitability of such child's foster parents and the status of their licenses, and (B) within sixty days of a child entering into Department of Children and Families custody regarding such child's treatment and education needs and a timetable for ensuring that such needs are met, and (2) permit the Juvenile Court to extend such reporting deadlines by fourteen days.
