AN ACT CONCERNING THE EDUCATION COST-SHARING GRANT FUNDING RANGE FOR EACH TOWN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to require that, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2018, and June 30, 2019, no town shall receive an equalization aid grant that is less than fifty per cent or more than one hundred per cent of the amount a town received for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the amount of a reduction that a town can experience in its education cost-sharing grant funding.
