2424 AN ACT RELEASING CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES FROM LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM FIRE.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That section 29-305 of the general statutes be amended to specify that a municipality shall not be liable for damages resulting from a fire in a building or facility contemplated in said section solely because such municipality's local fire marshal did not inspect such building or facility in the calendar year preceding such fire, if fifty thousand or more buildings or facilities located in such municipality are contemplated by said section.
