2424 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY BY THE COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS OF STATE TAX, REVENUE AND BONDING POLICIES.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commission on Economic Competitiveness, established under section 2-124 of the general statutes, shall study the tax, revenue and bonding policies of the state to identify legislative changes that may be made to improve the business climate and economic opportunities in the state. The commission may consult with any individuals, businesses and state agencies it deems necessary or appropriate to accomplish the purposes of the study. Not later than January 1, 2018, the commission shall submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, on its findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding and commerce.
