2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADULT INSTRUCTION PERMIT ISSUED BY THE COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VEHICLES.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That subsection (b) of section 14-36 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require any person holding an adult instruction permit to complete ten hours, rather than eight hours, of a safe driving practice course prior to taking a test concerning motor vehicles and the rules of the road, and (2) permit the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to issue a motor vehicle operator's license to any person holding an adult instruction permit who has held such permit for at least forty-five days, rather than ninety days.
