AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF HERBICIDES ON STATE HIGHWAYS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than six months after the effective date of this section, the Department of Transportation and any agent of said department shall permanently discontinue the use, application and spraying of any herbicide along all highways and roadways of the state.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
