SREDZINSKI, 112th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING USE OF PUBLIC FUNDS FOR POLITICAL ADVERTISING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 9-621 of the general statutes be amended to require any 1 candidate receiving a grant from the Citizens' Election Fund, and who 2 uses any portion of such grant for any political communication, to 3 disclose that such communication was paid for, in part, by public 4 funds. 5 Statement of Purpose: To require candidates participating in the Citizens' Election Program to disclose when political communications are paid for, in part, by funds received from the program.
