(By Request) AN ACT CONCERNING A LANDLORD'S DUTY TO PROVIDE NOTICE OF FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS IN RENTAL AGREEMENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 47a-3f of the general statutes be amended to provide 1 that a landlord shall only be required to provide written notice of the 2 existence or nonexistence of an operative fire suppression system 3 when state law requires that the dwelling unit be equipped with such 4 system. 5 Statement of Purpose: To ensure that a landlord is required to provide written notice of the existence or nonexistence of an operative fire suppression system only when state law requires that a particular dwelling unit be equipped with such system.
