| 22 | 22 | Assembly convened: | |

| 24 | 24 | That (1) the general statutes be amended to establish (A) a 1 | |
| 25 | 25 | partnership between this state and the captive insurance company 2 | |
| 26 | 26 | established pursuant to section 38a-91vv of the general statutes to fund 3 | |
| 27 | 27 | the development of methods to reduce the cost of repairing and 4 | |
| 28 | 28 | replacing crumbling concrete foundations, and (B) a board of directors 5 | |
| 29 | 29 | to oversee the operations of such partnership that includes, but is not 6 | |
| 30 | 30 | limited to, members with experience in the fields of materials science, 7 | |
| 31 | 31 | chemistry, structural engineering, construction, patent law, technology 8 | |
| 32 | 32 | and venture capitalism, and (2) the sum of eight million dollars be 9 | |
| 33 | 33 | appropriated to such partnership. 10 | |
