1919 AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF PRESIDENTIAL AND
2020 GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATES' FEDERAL TAX RETURNS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that no 1
2525 candidate for President or Vice President of the United States, or 2
2626 Governor or Lieutenant Governor, may appear on any primary or 3
2727 general election ballot unless such candidate publicly discloses his or 4
2828 her tax returns for at least the past two years. 5
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To require presidential and gubernatorial candidates to publicly
3131 disclose a minimum of their past two years' worth of tax returns in
3232 order to gain access to the primary and general election ballots.
