| 22 | 22 | That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to: (1) Increase 1 | |
| 23 | 23 | the claimant’s earnings threshold required to qualify for benefits from 2 | |
| 24 | 24 | six hundred dollars to three thousand dollars per year; (2) prohibit 3 | |
| 25 | 25 | individuals from receiving benefits during any period during which 4 | |
| 26 | 26 | they are receiving severance pay; (3) freeze the max imum 5 | |
| 27 | 27 | unemployment benefit rate in any year in which the Unemployment 6 | |
| 28 | 28 | Trust Fund is less than seventy per cent solvent; and (4) clarify the 7 | |
