AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
RENOVATION AND EXPANSION OF THE YMCA FACILITIES IN
WALLINGFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
one million dollars, provided two hundred thousand dollars of said 4
authorization shall be available on July first of each fiscal year for five 5
years beginning with the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2019, the 6
proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Economic and 7
Community Development for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid 8
for the renovation and expansion of the YMCA facilities in Wallingford 9
to serve residents of Wallingford, Meriden, North Haven, Durham, 10
Cheshire, Hamden, Northford, Middlefield and New Haven. 11
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the renovation and expansion of the YMCA
facilities in Wallingford.
