1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE OFFICE OF THE
1919 VICTIM ADVOCATE.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That section 46a-13b of the general statutes be amended to require 1
2424 the Office of the Victim Advocate to include in its informational 2
2525 outreach materials that advocacy services are available to persons who 3
2626 have suffered from all types of abuse, including, but not limited to, 4
2727 those who have suffered from emotional abuse, who may not 5
2828 otherwise understand that they can seek the services, protection and 6
2929 resources of the office. 7
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To ensure that help and support is made available by the Office of the
3232 Victim Advocate to those who have suffered from all types of abuse,
3333 including emotional abuse.
