AN ACT CONCERNING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE OFFICE OF THE
VICTIM ADVOCATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 46a-13b of the general statutes be amended to require 1
the Office of the Victim Advocate to include in its informational 2
outreach materials that advocacy services are available to persons who 3
have suffered from all types of abuse, including, but not limited to, 4
those who have suffered from emotional abuse, who may not 5
otherwise understand that they can seek the services, protection and 6
resources of the office. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that help and support is made available by the Office of the
Victim Advocate to those who have suffered from all types of abuse,
including emotional abuse.
