2121 AN ACT CONCERNING LIABILITY WHEN INDIVIDUALS ARE
2222 EXPOSED TO MOLD IN LEASED COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.
2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2424 Assembly convened:

2626 That the general statutes be amended to clarify (1) liability for 1
2727 exposure to toxic mold in a leased commercial building, and (2) 2
2828 responsibility for mold remediation in a leased commercial building. 3
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To protect commercial building tenants from being held responsible
3131 for mold remediation or liable for toxic mold exposure that they did
3232 not cause.
