1818 AN ACT REQUIRING CONNECTICUT TO JOIN THE PSYCHOLOGY
1919 INTERJURISDICTIONAL COMPACT.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require Connecticut to join 1
2424 the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact and allow (1) a 2
2525 psychologist licensed in a state that participates in the compact to 3
2626 practice telehealth in Connecticut without requiring that the 4
2727 psychologist be licensed under chapter 383 of the general statutes, and 5
2828 (2) a psychologist licensed under chapter 383 of the general statutes to 6
2929 practice telehealth in another state that participates in the compact 7
3030 without requiring that the psychologist be licensed in that state. 8
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To provide patients greater access to care, allow licensed psychologists
3333 to provide continuity of care as patients relocate to other states and
3434 help ensure patients are better protected from harm.
