AN ACT REQUIRING CONNECTICUT TO JOIN THE PSYCHOLOGY 
INTERJURISDICTIONAL COMPACT. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require Connecticut to join 1 
the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact and allow (1) a 2 
psychologist licensed in a state that participates in the compact to 3 
practice telehealth in Connecticut without requiring that the 4 
psychologist be licensed under chapter 383 of the general statutes, and 5 
(2) a psychologist licensed under chapter 383 of the general statutes to 6 
practice telehealth in another state that participates in the compact 7 
without requiring that the psychologist be licensed in that state. 8 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide patients greater access to care, allow licensed psychologists 
to provide continuity of care as patients relocate to other states and 
help ensure patients are better protected from harm.
