AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM
FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that (1) a baby-1
changing station be added to (A) any existing publicly accessible 2
restroom facility that does not contain such a station during the 3
renovation of such restroom facility, and (B) any new publicly 4
accessible restroom facility during the construction of such restroom, 5
and (2) publicly accessible restroom facilities with a baby-changing 6
station be equally accessible to all genders. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the public health of infants and children.
