AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO STATE AGENCY DATA HELD BY
STATE CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 23b of the general statutes be amended to permit (1) 1
any state agency that contracts with a private entity to access any data 2
concerning such state agency that is held by such entity, and (2) the 3
Auditors of Public Accounts to access such data for purposes of 4
conducting an audit. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To increase transparency and accountability in state government.
