AN ACT CONCERNING THE VOTING AGE FOR ELECTIONS OF MUNICIPAL OFFICERS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any 1 individual who has attained the age of sixteen years may vote at any 2 election of the officers for the municipality of which such individual is 3 a bona fide resident. 4 Statement of Purpose: To permit sixteen-year-olds to vote for the officers of the municipality in which they reside.
