1818 AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL
1919 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CENTERS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That section 10-65 of the general statutes be amended to increase the 1
2424 per student funding to twelve thousand five hundred dollars for 2
2525 students enrolled in an agricultural science and technology education 3
2626 center; further that section 10-262f of the general statutes be amended 4
2727 to exclude students enrolled in an agricultural science and technology 5
2828 education center from the resident student count of a town for 6
2929 purposes of equalization aid grants; and further that the general 7
3030 statutes be amended to transfer in the current state budget, for the 8
3131 fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, the sum of $8,226,757 appropriated to 9
3232 the Department of Education, for Education Equalization Grants to the 10
3333 Department of Education, for Vocational Agriculture. 11
3434 Statement of Purpose:
3535 To achieve funding equity of the per student grant for agricultural
3636 science and technology education centers and the Technical Education
3737 and Career System.
