23 | 23 | That the general statutes be amended to establish a training and 1 | |
24 | 24 | development advisory committee to develop guidelines to improve the 2 | |
25 | 25 | level of training direct care workers receive. The committee shall 3 | |
26 | 26 | determine: (1) The extent to which direct care workers who serve 4 | |
27 | 27 | clients with higher levels of need may require additional training to 5 | |
28 | 28 | adequately serve such clients, (2) what training curricula, if any, needs 6 | |
29 | 29 | to be developed to provide such training, and (3) how to provide such 7 | |
30 | 30 | training in a manner that ensures consistent care across government 8 | |
