| 27 | 27 | | That subsection (k) of section 8-30g of the general statutes be 1 |

| 28 | 28 | | amended to exempt from the affordable housing land use appeals 2 |

| 29 | 29 | | procedure any municipality in which at least eight per cent of the 3 |

| 30 | 30 | | dwellings in the municipality are assisted housing, currently financed 4 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | by Connecticut Housing Finance Authority mortgages, subject to 5 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | binding recorded deeds containing certain covenants or restrictions or 6 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | certain mobile manufactured homes, and that subsection (l) of section 7 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to increase the moratorium 8 |

| 35 | 35 | | period on the applicability of the affordable housing land use appeals 9 |

| 36 | 36 | | procedure to five years, except that for any municipality that has (1) 10 |

| 37 | 37 | | twenty thousand or more dwelling units, as reported in the most 11 |

| 38 | 38 | | recent United States decennial census, and (2) previously qualified for 12 |
