1818 AN ACT REQUIRING THE ADOPTION OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF
1919 STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY STANDARDS FOR CONCRETE

2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
2525 Consumer Protection to adopt National Institute of Standards and 2
2626 Technology recommended regulations that: (1) Require that more than 3
2727 one per cent of sulfur be rejected from any concrete aggregate, (2) 4
2828 apply to all Connecticut state quarries uniformly, and (3) create a 5
2929 standardized concrete testing procedure so that data is consistent 6
3030 among laboratories. 7
